I am on H1B and planning to go for CP. I have to fill the form DS-230 for this and submit to VSF office.
Currently I am on H1B extension and I don't have visa stamped for this extension on my passport.
In this form DS-230 I need to fill field name "Present Address".
I have following question:
- In this form what should I fill my present address
Indian address
OR
US address.
(what I think: I think when I will submit the forms to VSF I will be in india and at that time i will not have the valid visa to enter USA. So I think I should fill the indian address.)
What do you guys suggest?

Today I got an SLUD on my pending 485 after almost more than a year. Last one was from July, 2008 (address change). Don't understand what exactly is going on. For RFEs are there usually SLUDs before? or just an hard LUD with message change? Anyone in same boat? :confused:

My father in law mistakenly entered the wrong date for his date of arrival in the U.S. (entered data in Indian style) on his citizenship application form. The number of days out of the country was also wrong.
Is there a way to rectify this mistake and inform USCIS about this ? Is there a form, or can we simply write a letter regarding the errors to the USCIS office ?
What would be the best way to address this issue ?

I filed my I-485 and I-140 together in July 2007 using substitute labor (priority date) in Eb3 category.
I have Master degree, so can I change my category from EB3 to EB2 and keep the same priority date?

No, you can not. there are lot more factors than your qualification.

Hi,
I have applied for H1B extension for 3 years based on my I 140 approval. I have submitted all relevant documentation except for client letter.
My current H1 expires in Oct and we are expecting our baby in October as well. I would like to know what would be my options in case my H1 extension in denied. I cannot leave with the new born atleast untill december (need time to get passport n visa for the baby) and I wouldn't want to get into any legal issues like staying in US n not being in status.
Looking forward to your advice and suggestions

One of my friends has been unemployed for the last 6 months but his AP and EAD are current. He needs to go to India in June. Will he face any problems while coming back into the country? Should he postpone his India trip till he he has been on a job for 3-4 months? If he starts his own company and gets a salary from that will it cause problems? Also Newark is his closest airport. Is Newark OK for AP or should he try Philadelphia or JFK in New York?

Hi metguh!
You cannot adjust the brightness of an object in Blend. What you can do, though, is alter the opacity or transparency.
For best practice from going from PS to Blend, what I would do is rasterize the image and import that image into your Blend project. Silverlight supports images that are PNG and JPEG.

If you can't show you have had 3 years of experience at the time the labor was filed...you will most likely have hard times getting I140 approved.....the service centers are very thorough regarding work experience.

Hi,
My wife is on H1B and she couldnt work for the past 6 months. I applied for my I 140 and I 485 during the July fiasco last year and she was not added as my spouse and we got married at a later date.
Since she didnt receive pay for 6 months, I guess she is out of status for these 6 months. So my question is will this have any effect on her GC process when I add her as my spouse to the I 485 application whenever my priority date become current ? I am really worried and dont want to screw up my GC process after a long wait.
