I used the template on one of the other threads "I am a highly skilled... " attached the program for 7/14 Rally and the two letters from Zoe.. Express posted it to Arnie and it will be delivered tomm at Sacramento... Didnt save the word doc, so I wont be able to send it across.. sorry...

They might be sending second FP notice every 15mnths of first/consecutive FP's done once it expires in their system..wait for that notice and dont worry about it now..

Yes, your reply is exactly same as her. But she added one more point. According to her The CBP officer can't deport a AP bearer. He/she has to parole the person and then can schedule a secondary check for I 140 validity. In such case my attorney can pitch in.
But I am not sure if this is true or she is being over assuring.

Listen kroy, All I can say is, people can share general info and their common experiences in these areas as to what they went through. I think its up to you to figure out the best case and the worst case scenario for yourself. Obviously neither me, nor your lawyer is going to be with you, when you go thru the CBP officer. My strong opinion would be to use all these information as a filler in your case and hope for the best. Good Luck!!!

Maybe I'm way off, but I kind of like the Done for the Day the best.
The problem with that is I don't think it best represents and displays the Ice Fishing contest as an interesting winter event (like the contest wants).
The ones you guys like probably do do a better job of that.

it looks like you have been distracted lately and not following USCIS updates.
first Ap and EAD have nothing to do with each other and USCIS has stated that they are working hard to get EADs out as the law requires them too. Some people get their EADs a day or two before their receipts.
The priority is issuing EAD and USCIS ha been working hard at it, so dont fret

You can start Greencard application in EB2 after receiving the MS degree in December 2006. H-1B and GC are two separate entities.
any help appreciated. My labor got cleared from BEC. It was filed under RIR category . The minimum req for the job specified in LCA is BS+5 yrs+2 months.Salary is 80k/yr.Does this qualify me for EB2 also the ETA form has my qualification as my BE+MS .Also it specifies my past experience before joining the company. In my previous experience i was promoted and worked in a fortune 500 company .Will this qualify me for EB2. Also i heard that the category is determined in 140 stage.any help .thanks in advance.The occupation code also specifies that 65% or more in this job have bachelors and masters .Also it was mentioned it requires years of work experience for this job.Will this qualify for EB2. I am eager to know as i am from rest of the world and i can file 140/485/ead/ap together now.Any inputs.

hey all i can't find where to post a new thread so hopefully I can hijack this quick.
I called the USCIS number for info but can't speak to an operator.
My wife is planning on traveling to hawaii in december. She will have her drivers license by then. She has her I-485, I-130, I-765 and some other M109109 (whatever that is).
she wants to know if its ok for her to travel to hawaii (from florida). it's in the united states so i can't imagine there being an issue. she will be traveling to ohio later that month and to me its the same thing. I'm just trying to get the opinion from someone who would know for sure.

Hawaii is an outlying US state. Going to Hawaii should be no different than flying between two cities within continental US.

sidd_k2002, Just move forward and sent the necessary sponsorship letter so that they can go ahead and get the visitors visa. Do you have any brothers and sisters living in India that are still with your parents? If so, they can show that as a reason why they would not like to stay back in US.
Stop worrying and think positive. Since Graduation is a BIG event and its once in a life-time event, the presence of parents at the honoring ceremony is the dream for every child. Your parents should convey this point to the VO.

My company attorney is not of much help. He claims given that USCIS has issued Receipt, and has not yet rejected the application, we may be ok...
For me, the risk is that USCIS rejects the application after sitting on it for 2 months...My EAD is expiring mid of Aug, and I will have to start again, and will have to be on unpaid leave.
Has anybody in the forum applied for EAD renewal and whose I-485 filing date is between August 1, 2007 and August 17, 2007 ?

my husband's I-140 just got approved in a week's time. We were still waiting for the receipt number, instead the lawyer said she had received the approval paperwork!
